Rules of Play

Toddler Area

– Recommended Age: 3 years and under
– Capacity: 24 children
– Please do not climb up the slides
– Please ensure socks are worn at all times whilst on the play equipment
– All children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times

Junior Area

– Recommended Age: 3- 10 Years old
– Capacity: 115 children
– Please do not climb up the slides
– Please ensure socks are worn at all times whilst on the play equipment
– All children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times


  • Children should use the toilet and wash their hands before entering the play area.
  • Leave badges and jewellery with parents/guardians. Spectacles should only be worn if used with a retainer and shatter proof lenses.
  • Please remove shoes before entering the play area. Socks must be worn at all times.
  • All Parents are advised that their child should wear long sleeves and trousers while playing on the equipment. (none acrylic clothing is best to reduce the chance of friction burns)
  • In case of a problem, contact the owner or a member of staff.
  • All children must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times. Please note: Parents or guardians MUST be over 18 years of age.
  • Please do not play in front of slide exits.
  • Clothes with ropes and cords should not be worn in the play area. No sharp objects may be taken into the play area.
  • Fighting or bullying will not be tolerated. SWEARING or BAD LANGUAGE will not be tolerated. Guilty parties may be asked to leave.
  • It is forbidden to climb on the netted walls or the system structure.
  • No food, drinks or chewing gum should be taken into the play area.
  • It is forbidden to smoke or play with fire within the play area.
  • Children who are unwell should not enter the play area.
  • Balls or other objects should not be thrown at each other.
  • Socks must be worn at all times.
  • Mousetrap does not permit you to bring your own food & drink into the venue.
  • We do not allow any forms of glitter tattoos or face painting, etc on children that can be transferred onto our frame, including any party organisers for parties, etc.
  • If you wish to have a Mascot attending your party then you MUST inform Mousetrap a week/ 7 days prior to your party, as this may not be allowed, due to other parties in the venue at the same time, with children that are afraid of any form of Mascots.
